Four reasons why I chose a digital DJ software package

Running a mobile disco in a very demanding  job, I know this first hand as I have done it for many years. However, with DJ software getting even more common, cheaper and easier to use, it is getting even harder to choose the correct package. There are many different factors to take into account when choosing your digital DJ software and in this article I will give you a brief guide as to what these factors are and how I decided on the particular DJ software that I use today.

1) Ease of use and simplicity of design – When you are DJing out on the road, you can be working quite a fast pace, you will be choosing records, taking requests whilst all the time keeping an eye on the dance floor. It is because of this that I rate the ease of use and the simplicity of design extremely highly when it comes to choosing DJ software. It is important for any DJ to be confident in the system that they are using, this confidence is gained from having a simple piece of software that is easy to use and won’t overload you with features.

How should you buy your DJ equipment turntables: New or Used?

If you’re looking to become any type of DJ, you will need some turntables. If you are new to buying turntables or haven’t done it before, then you might not know what you should buy or whether or not you should buy used or new turntables. In this article, I will try and help you and give you a little insight into the different factors you will need to take into account when buying DJ equipment turntables.

A lot of turntables can be very expensive, especially if you require two turntables in order to do any mixing it all. Also, if you’re just starting out or just learning to DJ then money maybe a huge concern. Although this may be the case, you will also need to keep in mind exactly what you will be getting when you purchase used DJ equipment turntables.

Trance DJ equipment – Get a professional DJ setup for less

If you want to take DJing seriously, then buying the right DJ equipment is pretty much the most important area you will need to think about. There are so many different types of equipment available so you will need to know which products are the best and which products aren’t worth your money before you consider buying anything.

If you are a trance DJ, then you will have much different needs to a scratch DJ. When it comes to buying the right turntables, mixers, even styluses, making the right choice for you will make all the difference for your career.

Each different model of DJ turntables come with very different levels of torque, tone arm design, and drive. A lot of DJs will recommend that you opt for a direct drive turntable; these have a much higher level of torque. For a long time, Technics, were classed as a world standard in professional DJ equipment. Now, a lot of other competitors are making equipment that is just as good, especially when it comes to direct drive turntables.
